The Conquest of Space invites you to participate in space exploration. Our “Let’s Talk Space” forum is open to everyone to share their interests, knowledge, opinions, and experiences with the space program. Our “Space History” section presents historical perspectives and commentary relative to both the human and robotic space programs and covers the efforts of the international community in space exploration. The space history blog is read by space enthusiasts, professionals, and history fans all over the planet. Aside from the United States, the site has numerous readers from China, Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Japan, Germany, France, and Canada to name a few.

The Conquest of Space was founded and edited by Mike O’Hara. Mr. O’Hara is a life-long follower of the space program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Space Studies with Honors from the American Military University. His interests include all facets of human and robotic space exploration, American space policy, and the history of human space exploration.
