The Cradle of Aviation Museum

I've never been to The Cradle of Aviation Museum, Long Island, but I'm reproducing the Grumman LEM models they have on display for my personal 'Museum'. I hope you like the results so far?

These models are fantastic! The classic "contractor's model" (in the center) is hard to find in good condition. Many are yellowed with age, and missing parts. These are perfect for the collector looking to get a perfect one for display! I've been looking for a contractor model in good shape for a long time, but after seeing these, the 1962 version (the one on the right) was always my favorite design.

It's been quite a while, but I've been to the Cradle of Aviation Museum. They have the "last LEM", the one that would have been scheduled to fly on Apollo 19 (LEM 13) along a few other LEM training articles.  I donated a model I had reproduced of the Grumman Space Shuttle that would have used the Saturn V first stage to the museum.
